NudeAudio announces Studio 5, its first home speaker

NudeAudio announced today its asymmetrical home speaker, the Studio 5. Featuring Bluetooth and Apple Lightning connectivity, the Studio 5 is compatible with all smartphones and tablets. Its 2.1 audio system offers high-fidelity sound, and is housed in metal and fabric material combination. The Studio 5's play-control buttons are hidden in its circular dock-plate, and its iPad support is composed of transparent polycarbonate.

NudeAudio's Studio 5 includes a three-inch subwoofer, as well as two high-fidelity neodymium drivers, that deliver sounds ranging from 70Hz to 18kHz. Its three pre-set bass settings provide varying levels of low sound, based on the user's preferences as well as what is best for a particular genre. Devices can be connected using Apple's latest Lightning connector, or via its aux-in port, or through Bluetooth connection, which is available as a dual-pairing function as well. Available for purchase online, the Studio 5 is priced at $180, and will be more widely released in retail stores in the coming months.

Humble Bundle of Sid Meier apps now available, featuring Civilization III and IV

Humble Bundle has introduced the Humble Sid Meier Bundle today, featuring $144 worth of content from the aforementioned game designer. A 'Pay What You Can' group purchase, the latest Humble Bundle includes Sid Meier classics such as Civilization III and Civilization IV, Ace Patrol, and more. Upon purchasing the bundle, buyers select who their money is given to -- all to charity, all to 2K, or split between the two options. Buyers who opt to pay more than the average purchasing price will receive Civilization V and the Gods and Kings expansion, and those who choose to pay more than $15 will also receive the Civilization IV: Brave New World expansion, which we recently reviewed.

Games purchased as part of the Humble Sid Meier Bundle are redeemed through Steam, with most requiring a Windows platform to run. However, Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, Civilization V, Civilization V expansion Gods and Kings DLC and Civilization V expansion Brave New World DLC are Mac compatible. The Humble Sid Meier Bundle is available for purchase online until February 18.
