Path adds Instagram-style video clip sharing, filters

Path has finally added video to the Android version of its app, bringing it in line with the iOS version. The official Path blog writes that users of Android 4.0 or later can use the video function in the app, which takes after Vine and Instagram in offering up to 30-second clips, with the option to add a variety of camera filters to the video before sharing with others. Path 3.4 is available to download via Google Play.

Verizon starts releasing Android KitKat update for Moto G

Verizon has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 update to the Moto G. The KitKat update, which includes changes to the dialer and cloud-based printing services to the budget Motorola handset, is said by Phone Arena to be heading to Verizon-based devices in batches from today, though users can try to avoid waiting for the Over The Air update by manually updating in the phone's settings menu.
