FAVI Entertainment releases Audio+ Set to Connect speaker

updated 11:45 am EST, Sat February 8, 2014

Wireless speaker uses induction rather than pairing

FAVI Entertainment has released a new speaker for smart phones and tablets that allows wireless connection to a device without the hassle of pairing. The Audio+ Set to Connect speaker merely requires the device to be placed on the docking space in order to connect to the speaker via induction. No fiddling with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi is required.

Using induction to amplify the sound of the device's onboard speakers, FAVI says that the Audio+ speaker will boost the sound by six times over normal volume. The speaker contains a three watt amplifier for the smartphone model, or two of the same speakers for the tablet model, allowing up to six hours of use. It features a 750mAh battery that recharges in 1.5 hours.

The new Audio+ Set to Connect speaker is available for tablets and smart phones at a price of $50 and By Electronista Staff
