Xbox One update due February 11, adds battery life indicator

Microsoft's Xbox One is set to have an update released, addressing issues encountered by users since the console's launch. The update is due February 11th, featuring issue corrections regarding storage management, and the addition of a battery life indicator for the console's controller. Libraries will be split into two separate lists of 'My Games' and 'My Apps', as to simplify file searches. Also expected in the update is the added ability to use a USB keyboard with the console.

Mega storage app updated, adds automatic photo syncing

Subscription-based cloud storage app Mega, has released an update this week. A secure cloud store service that offers its first 50GB of space free, users interested in additional space can subscribe for 500 GB ($11 per month). Newly featured in v1.1 is PhotoSync, which allows users to have photos captured with one's iPhone be automatically backed up to Mega's service. A new passcode lock function is also included, which requires a four-digit password to be entered at launch. The app for iOS is available for free download through iTunes.
