Some plans could receive extra data allowance, Edge price cuts

Verizon is planning to launch a promotion which consist of changes to its price plans, the company has teased via Twitter. The claim that "More is coming" tomorrow could potentially be related to recently-leaked images claiming to show upgraded data allowances for some of its plans under a "More Everything" promotion, as well as changes to its Edge pricing, as the company continues to fight similar plans from AT&T and Sprint.

Screenshots picked up by Android Police appear to show the $40, $50, and $60 Share Everything plans as having increased data allowances. The $40 plan, which provides unlimited shared minutes and texts, will receive a boost from a data allowance of 500MB up to 1GB, while the two higher plans will be boosted from 1GB and 2GB to 2GB and 3GB respectively. Existing customers on these plans will apparently be migrated to the new allowances automatically.

Edge customers, a group that has already received a cut in its wait time to upgrade, will also receive a bonus, with a discount of $10 on Share Everything plans with 8GB of data allowance or less, and $20 off plans with a 10GB allowance or more. All plans will also receive 25GB of cloud storage, and unlimited messaging to international numbers from the United States, though this does cut into the benefits of its recently-launched World Messaging Unlimited promotion.
