Leaked images show silver, gold, grey versions of HTC One follow-up

HTC could launch the upcoming replacement to the HTC One in a variety of colors, according to leaked marketing renders. Images of the codenamed M8 smartphone, expected to launch on March 25th if it fails to surface at Mobile World Congress, appears to show the device in three different case colors, including gold, dark gray, and silver.

The @evleaks Twitter account also claims the device will be called The All New One rather than the HTC M8 or the HTC One+. Senior Global Online Communications Manager for HTC Jeff Gordon waded into online commentary about the @evleaks posts, advising "Thanks for your enthusiasm for HTC and ongoing offers for free PR. However, we do not comment on rumors."

The device has also previously been spotted coated in a black protective cover, though it is still not clear if it will be supplied with the device, or if it is a separately-sold accessory. Recent rumors suggest the HTC M8 will have a five-inch 1080p display driven by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. It will also have two cameras on the rear, rather than just one, which could allow for 3D photography or Lytro-style effects.
