WhatsApp experiences server problems today

Mobile messaging app WhatsApp has experienced issues with its servers today, days after being purchase by Facebook for $19 billion in a cash-and-stock deal. Users began to report experiencing outages around 11AM PT. WhatsApp acknowledged on Twitter that server issues are to blame, and that attempts were being made to recover service.

Virgin Media adds free Wi-Fi to additional 10 London Underground stations

Virgin Media has announced that it has installed free Wi-Fi networks in 10 additional London Underground stations, with another 10 to be added this spring. The company announced the introduction of free Wi-Fi access throughout London in 2011, with the current count of covered areas presently sitting at 131 locations.
