Microsoft offers 100GB OneDrive storage via Bing Rewards scheme

After the success of its 100GB of cloud storage giveaway to 100,000 users as part of the SkyDrive rebrand to OneDrive, Microsoft is offering another way to gain the large block of online storage. The Bing Blog claims users of the Bing Rewards scheme, a program that offers discounts and other incentives for using Bing, will exchange 100 credits for a code, which provides access to the same 100GB allocation for one year, though the promotion will only be offered until June 30th of this year.

Valve opens up Steam sale creation tools to developers

Developers offering games on Steam will be able to run their own sales in the online store, without needing to organize it with Valve Software directly or taking part in one of Steam's mass sale periods. Gamasutra reports that developers can create their own custom sales in Steamworks, defining the amount to discount, when the sale starts, and a sale period lasting up to two weeks, up to two months in advance.
