Google Wallet app for iOS and Android adds order histories feature
Google's Wallet app, available for iOS and Android devices, has received an update today. The new inclusion of its Orders feature allows users to track active online orders, as well as access past transaction history information in one centralized location. Once Orders is activated within Google Wallet, users can view any receipts sent to their Gmail account within the app.
US package carriers can now send notifications of order status updates through Wallet, so a purchased item's location is easily determined. Additionally, merchant contact information is synced so that calling or emailing regarding an order can be done within Wallet. The latest update can be downloaded for Android and iOS from Google Play and iTunes respectively, free of charge.
Add-ons launched for Google Docs and Sheets, expands integrated services
Google has expanded the breadth of its features for its web-based software, Google Docs and Sheets, with the new inclusion of add-ons. The new tools are created by developer partners that provide more features available for documents and spreadsheets, facilitating such things as signature importing, label formatting for printing, and more. Users can access add-ons within Google Docs through the add-on store; once installed, an add-on will become available across all of one's documents or spreadsheets, and can be used immediately.
