Wal-Mart commencing game trade program, offers gift cards for old titles

Retailing giant Wal-Mart is entering the used game resale market. Starting on March 26, the company will let consumers trade in video games in exchange for Wal-Mart gift cards that can be used to shop online or in its stores. Third party CExchange will be used to refurbish the games and repackage them for resale "later in 2014." While the retailer claims to accept Playstation 2 and original Xbox games, it also says that it reserves the right to refuse trades on titles it considers too old for resale.

Sim City Patch 10 available, fixes more outstanding issues with the title

Maligned EA and Maxis title Sim City patch 10 has arrived, bringing with it the ability for users to play offline. The patch fixes some standing bugs with the game, improves performance of the title, changed some local save functionality, as well as implementing the aforementioned offline play.
