Pebble lowers price of Steel smart watch with leather strap

Pebble has cut the price for one version of its metal smartwatch. The leather-strap version of the Pebble Steel is now reduced to $229 for both the brushed stainless and black matte models, representing a $20 saving on the metal-band variants, reports SmartwatchFans. Potential buyers will have to wait, as the leather-strapped models are now back-ordered, while the metal strap versions are listed as "unavailable." The original version of the Pebble is still listed as in-stock.

Google Voice Search for Android introduces voice commands for photography

Google has updated the Google Search App on Android with new camera-related prompts. When a user tells the app to "take a photo" or "take a video," the device's camera app will then automatically open up and set itself ready to record a video or for picture taking, depending on what is said. The update is available to download now via Google Play, with Android Central noting it will work with all KitKat phones as well as Jelly Bean devices.
