Pre-orders for Galaxy S5 start tomorrow on both carriers

(Updated with T-Mobile launch details) AT&T and US Cellular will be putting up Samsung's flagship smartphone for pre-order tomorrow, with AT&T also preparing to sell the manufacturer's new wearable devices. The Samsung Galaxy S5 on both, as well as the Tizen-powered Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smart watches and the Gear Fit on AT&T, will be available to order through the carrier's stores and websites, with devices set to ship in early April.

The Galaxy S5 will cost AT&T customers $650 off-contract, or alternately for $200 up-front as part of a new two-year agreement. The smartphone will also be available through AT&T's Next plans, priced at $25 per month under AT&T Next 18, or $32.50 per month with AT&T Next 12. US Cellular is also pricing the Galaxy S5 at $200 up-front on a new contract, but also includes a $50 Google Play credit, and gives the date of April 11th.

While the Galaxy S5 could be acquired through AT&T Next, the same cannot be said about the wearables for AT&T's pre-orders. The Gear 2 will cost $299 excluding taxes through the carrier, while the camera-less Gear 2 Neo will be priced at $199. AT&T is also offering $50 off the cost of the Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo when bought alongside the Galaxy S5. The sport-oriented Gear Fit will be priced at $199, though oddly it is not included in the $50 discount offer. US Cellular has not detailed its Samsung smart watch pre-order plans nor pricing, but will be selling the devices from April 11th.

Update: T-Mobile has also joined in with revealing its pre-order plans. Starting from March 24th, customers can opt to get the Galaxy S5 online or in-store for no up-front payments, but with 24 monthly payments under the Jump program, though the carrier has not revealed how much it will cost each month. Customers pre-ordering by March 31st will receive a "special, introductory price," with T-Mobile also offering $120 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with a Mobile Internet plan and 200MB of free data for the life of the tablet, until the same date.
