LG starts Android 4.4 update roll-out for G Flex in South Korea

LG has started to roll out the Android KitKat update to the G Flex smartphone. The update for the curved mobile device will include LG's Knock Code security system, among other changes, with units located in South Korea being the first to receive Android 4.4. Other markets are also expected to receive the software update, though the timing for this will depend on the region and individual carriers.

Nikon replaces number of D600 DSLRs with D610 in servicing

Owners of the Nikon D600 DSLR sending their cameras in for repair have been receiving the D610 in exchange, according to reports. Sources of Nikon Rumors claim that devices sent in for servicing to rectify an oil and dust fault with the sensor have in some instances been replaced by the newer model, with owners in both Europe and the United States reporting the exchanges as occurring.
