Verizon starts pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S5, adds second device offer

Verizon is making the Samsung Galaxy S5 available to pre-order, ahead of the smartphone's April 11th global release. Priced at $200 up-front on a two-year contract, or alternatively for $25.55 per month under Verizon Edge or $600 off-contract, Phone Arena reports it can be bought as a "Buy One, Get One" offer, with a second Galaxy S5, an Ativ SE, or the HTC One M8 being offered free, also on a two-year contract.

Developer, Unlocked editions of HTC One M8 increase in price

The Developer Edition of the new HTC One M8 is now more expensive to buy. A post on the HTC Twitter account noticed by Ubergizmo states that the promotional price for the Unlocked and Developer editions ended last night, raising the price of the respective editions to $700. The Google Play edition of the HTC One M8 is also priced at $700.
