Best Buy offers Windows XP laptop trade-in credit of $100 or more

In light of the discontinuation of support for Windows XP by Microsoft, Best Buy has announced a new trade-in credit program. Between now and April 19, customers can receive a minimum of $100 of credit toward the purchase of a new computer, when bringing in a functional Windows XP running laptop to a Best Buy location. A $25 gift card plus a discount coupon valued at $75 will be issued upon assessment of the device brought in.

Indiegogo receives a make-over, optimized for mobile devices

Crowdfunding campaign platform Indiegogo has unveiled its new redesign, offering an entirely revamped look of the site. Central to the update is an optimized experience for mobile and tablet, which was previously not included. Prior to the update, campaign owners and funder could update or pledge only on its desktop web format on their mobile devices, however now the optimization offers a more intuitive experience for mobile users. Also included in the site update is a more accessible homepage, and a Playbook feature that offers a guide to creating successful campaigns, and how the site works. Indiegogo's new website is rolling out over a two-month period, beginning today.
