TYLT announces new Energi Sliding Power Case and ALIN screen protector for new Galaxy S5
Portable power and wireless charging manufacturer, Tylt, has today introduced its Energi Sliding Power Case and Alin Screen Protector for the newly released Samsung Galaxy S5. The Energi Sliding Power Case pairs portable charging with physical protection, and is equipped with a 2,800mAh internal battery that is double the capacity of the Galaxy S5. The ALIN screen protector facilitates an easy installation, with its accompanying alignment tool. Four screen protectors are provided, with each featuring two removable tabs to avoid fingerprints during the application process.
Upon removing the battery in the Energi, an inner case with a TPE lining is visible, offering drop protection. The case features a cut-out for easy access to the Galaxy S5's heart rate sensor, and an LED light that indicates remaining battery capacity. Both items will be available online through Tylt in the coming weeks, The Energi Sliding Power Case can be purchased in blue or gray for $80, and the Alin screen protector is priced at $25.
PayPal launches biometrics and smartwatch integrations with Samsung
PayPal is debuting its integration with the new Samsung Galaxy S5 today, allowing users to log in to PayPal with their fingerprint. Available in 25 countries, users can utilize their fingerprint has a means to enable payment verification on PayPal and partner e-commerce sites when making purchases. Additionally debuting today is PayPal's app for Samsung's Gear 2 and Gear Fit, which allows for PayPal balance monitoring, payment notifications and access offers.
