Motorola said to make Moto E half as thick as Moto G

Motorola will be making a third device in its Moto range of smartphones, a rumor alleges. Specifications for what is believed to be called the Moto E have apparently leaked, suggesting the company is planning to launch another low-budget smartphone similar to the Moto G, but with a slightly thinner 6.2mm (0.24 inches) body instead of the Moto G's 11.6mm (0.46 inches) thickness.

Xataka Mexico claims it will have a 4.3-inch 720p display, making it slightly smaller than the Moto G. Inside will be a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage, as well as a 1,900mAh battery, a rear 5-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4.2 pre-installed. It is speculated to ship for between 3,000 pesos ($230) and 3,200 pesos ($245), and is believed to be launched in the country by Motorola in the coming weeks.

The Moto E is not the only new device on the way from Motorola, according to reports. Earlier this month, the Moto X +1 name was leaked, though other details for the device have yet to surface.
