Browser version of Vine adds improved navigation and more

Vine, the six-second video clip platform, has released an update for its Web browser version. Initially launched in January, the updated version of the site now allows users to scroll through channels and curated playlists, as well as granting the ability to peruse what content is trending. Vine is now accessible without logging in, and links to videos can be sent to anyone for viewing in a full-screen TV mode format. Lastly, a new search bar has been added, with options to search by person, tag, or location for preferred content.

Cooliris media app now available on Android

Photo aggregation app Cooliris is now available for Android devices, two years after its initial iOS launch. Cooliris can connect its users' photo media into one accessible location from more than 15 different social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram and more. Offering a centralized gallery, users can browse their photos and share them with friends. Presently requiring Android OS 4.1 to function, Cooliris is planning to update the app to accommodate older versions of Android.
