Aquafada Cloud Authoring platform utilizes by Kobo to digitize its magazine content
Digital e-magazing software publisher Aquafadas and e-reader maker Kobo have begun collaborating, in light of Aquafadas' cloud-based eZine publishing offering. The Aquafadas Cloud Authoring platform allows Kobo to digitize magazines on a mass-focused level, and has done so for more than 200 titles and a total of over 7,000 issues.
Cloud Authoring automates the complexities associated with digitizing printed magazines for distribution to smartphones, e-readers and tablets. By converting a PDF into a digital format, coding and development by publishers is not required. Additionally, elements such as interactive tables of contents and guided reading features -- which allows readers to move more fluidly through content via tapping to navigate from one column to the next -- can also be included. More information about the Cloud Authoring publishing platform can be found on Aquafadas' website.
New Sonos app released, features app-consolidated music access

One window provides a quick search function, which can find content by artist, song title, radio station and more, with results displaying various versions of a song amongst the results. Playlists can blend tracks from music services with one's iTunes library, and the new Now Playing screen features one-touch control. Multi-room playing is now enabled, and an alarm function is also available.
