Speaker charges on conductive base that houses 1800 mAh, allows device charging

Bem Wireless has announced the availability of its newest compact Bluetooth speaker, the Speaker Mojo. The 2.5-inch cube speaker from Bem builds on the previous generation of its mobile speaker, offering a bonus to its battery design. Instead of charging the speaker directly, it sits on a a base that houses a battery that doubles as a power bank for any devices that may need to be charged on-the-go.

The Speaker Mojo features touch sensitive buttons for volume controls, and play/pause on the face of the device. The speaker has a generous play time, thanks to its conductive charging battery base, which holds a 1800mAh battery. Thanks to the bonus battery inside of the base, devices can be charged by the battery separate from the speaker. The Mojo can reach a continuous play time up to 16 hours before it has be charged at the outlet.

Bem claims that the Bluetooth connection stretches to a 40-foot radius for the device. The compact cube Speaker Mojo also features a 3.5mm auxiliary input/output and a micro USB plug. A built-in mic/speaker phone is housed in the device as well.

The speaker is offered in black, white, midnight blue and gray. Price for the speaker is $90.
