Path for Windows Phone exits beta, adds in-app purchases
Mobile social media network, Path, has released v2.0 of its app for Windows Phone 8. Exiting its beta stage that first arrived in January, the update adds in-app sticker and filter purchases and the ability to run searches. Bug fixes and overall stability improvements are also included. Path for Windows Phone can be downloaded from the Windows Phone app store.
Windows 8.1 Store updated, adds Collections feature
Microsoft has updated its Windows 8.1 Store, offering a revised navigation format. Its new Collections element consists of curated collections of apps to browse through, as to improve app-discovery. The Store's new navigation bar remains at the top of each page, and offers links to app charts, categories and Collections. Lastly, publishers can now link their Windows and Windows Phone apps if desired, so that buying it on one platform unlocks it on the other. Users who wish to access the new Windows Store can run an update check while using Windows 8.1.
