Google Play now accepting PayPal as payment for digital goods

PayPal is now an official payment option for purchasing digital content within Google Play. Though a direct competitor with Google's own Wallet payment service, users can activate the new payment option by clicking "Add PayPal" and typing in one's login details. Google Play has also expanded its carrier billing and gift card availability to more regions, including Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.

Grand Theft Auto III series now available on Amazon tablets, Fire TV

The Grand Theft Auto III game series has been released for Amazon's Kindle Fire, as well as its Fire TV. Players of the Grand Theft Auto series -- which consists of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas -- navigate various communities guided by the provided plot arc, completing challenges both illicit and innocent in nature. Each game is normally priced between $5 or $6; however, for a limited time, users purchasing San Andreas receive "Amazon Coins," Amazon's virtual currency for app purchases, that equate to the worth of the remaining two releases.
