Crashlytics has announced the official launch of Beta, an app testing platform for developers of iOS and Android content. Now fully supported by its engineers, designers, user experience and support teams, Beta aims to provide streamlined app distribution with a cross-platform toolset for iOS and Android. New testers can be invited through a sign-up workflows, managed on the web or within one's IDE, and key metrics can be analyzed to determine when to release the app. Crash reporting is also included. PicTricks launches, features photo retouching by graphic designers

Photo editing service PicTricks has been officially launched, allowing customers to submit photos to be edited by individual graphic designers. Users can chat with the person who will be editing their photo, and indicate exactly what is desired from the editing process. Hair, skin, contouring and restoration are some of the elements that can be altered; the service also can improve product shots for businesses. Accepting JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, PSD and other image file formats, each edited image from PicTricks costs $5. Completed work is guaranteed in 24 hours.
