Starbucks announces plans to add in-house wireless charging spots, beginning in San Francisco

Starbucks has announced that in conjunction with Duracell, the coffee company will launch wireless charging spots in select cafes. The stations will consist of Duracell's Powermat chargers, which will be made available on designated tables and counters. The chargers are designed for slimmer devices, such as the iPhone (using a small power connector) and various Samsung Galaxy devices that are wireless-charging compatible. The new offering will begin in San Francisco, and will expand in the rest of the US next year.
