Dulux launches room color visualizing app
Paint company Dulux has launched a new app for iOS and Android devices that allows users to virtually paint a room. Dulux Visualizer uses an augmented reality technology that simulates a colour change to existing wall color, live. Using a mobile device's camera, Dulux Visualizer detects edges, surfaces and contour changes, as well as the difference between wall space, furniture and other fixtures as to not colour an entire image. Any of Dulux's 1,200 paint colours are available to select from, and if a color is chosen, tester pots can be ordered directly through the app. The Dulux Visualizer is available through iTunes and Google Play.
