Google Now adds new reminder feature for logged 'to-do' tasks
A new reminder option is now available for Google Now users, providing occasional notifications for to-dos or tasks entered. Google Now still offers standard reminders.
QNAP releases enterprise-class TS-ECx80 Pro series Turbo NAS, REXP-1000 Pro high density expansion enclosure
QNAP Systems has announced the release of a new NAS series and a RAID expansion enclosure. The TS-ECx80 Pro series is powered by a quad-core Intel Xeon 3.4GHz processor and 2GB DD3 ECC RAM, with the aim to fulfill the storage needs of entry-level enterprises. The series is 10GbE ready, supports SSD caching options (including up to two internal mSATA slots), and is capable of accommodating IOPS-demanding applications such as virtualization and data center deployment. The series is suitable for IT system management, server virtualization, and back-up and recovery uses, in conjunction with additional QNAP product solutions.
Its high-scalability design allows administrators to expand their total storage to up to 250TB raw capacity on demand by connecting up to two QNAP REXP-1000 Pro RAID expansion enclosures, which fit storage-intensive applications such as video surveillance, data archiving, TV broadcast storage, and for backing-up the content of a connected Turbo NAS. The TS-ECx80 Pro series includes an eight-drive tower unit as well as a 10-drive tower unit, and the REXP tower expansion enclosure is a 10-drive unit, accommodating 3.5- and 2.5-inch hard drives. Additional information can be found through QNAP online.
