Gaming notebook measures under 1-inch thick, includes 3K display option
Computer producer Origin PC has revealed its first ever "thin and light" notebook aimed at gamers and artists. The EVO15-S is a high-performance PC with an Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor and the choice of a 15.6-inch 1920x1080-resolution 16:9 display or a 2880x1620 3K version, packed into a case weighing in at 4.36 pounds and measuring just 0.79 inches thick.
Using 16GB of RAM and storage consisting of two 128GB SSDs in Raid 0 and a 1TB 7,200rpm hard disk, the EVO15-S includes an Nvidia GeForce GTX870M 3GB graphics card with Matrix multi-monitor display support for up to two external displays. Boasting a dual-fan cooling system, it also includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Killer-powered Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports, a media card reader, a 720p webcam, and a back-lit multi-color keyboard with anti-ghosting keys.
The Origin PC EVO15-S gaming notebook is on sale now in the United States, starting from $2,199, with options for custom paint or laser etching also available.
