Line ranges from 12-core A10-7800 to six-core A6-7400K

AMD today introduced the new "Kaveri" A10-7800 processor to the market for system builders. This fourth-generation A-Series APU, with four CPU cores and eight GPU processors, implements AMD's Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) features, and includes AMD Radeon R7 Series graphics to enhance performance across applications. Also released today are the six-core (two CPU and four GPU) A6-7400K, and the A8-7600 with 10 cores (four CPU and six GPU).

The A10-7800 is a 3.9GHz processor, with an adjustable 45W TDP. The A8-7600 runs at 3.8GHz at the same TDP. The A6-7400K runs at 3.9GHz, but with fewer cores than the other two processors. All three processors support HSA, AMD TrueAudio, and Mantle.

The chips retail for $158 for the A10-7800, $104 for the A8-7600, and $79 for the A6-7400K.
