Close-up shots of Moto 360 point to heart rate sensor pedometer

Motorola's upcoming Android Wear smartwatch, the Moto 360, has allegedly been spotted being used with its charging station. The leaked photographs appear to show the smartwatch attached a charging dock for the first time, with the leak also providing a considerable number of close-up views of the Moto 360's sides and back, and demonstrates its size when worn and in comparison to the LG G Watch.

The stand shown by Mister Gadget is a wireless charging unit, without any mounts or charging pins on the watch itself, with the Moto 360 being propped on its side and displaying a circular charging indicator. On the back, the inscription notes it as being water resistant to IP67, as well as having a pedometer and heart rate monitor for fitness tracking functions.

While it seems to be a fairly large device when worn on the wrist, the Moto 360 appears to be comparable to the LG G Watch in terms of size, with its round screen making it slightly wider than the LG counterpart, but not as long. The report also claims the watch will also have a battery life of over two days, in line with other similar smartwatches.

Previous rumors suggest the Moto 360 will go on sale in the next few months, priced at around $250.
