Mid-range specifications, 13MP camera included in US ZTE smartphone
ZTE has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone it will be shipping to the United States. The Nubia 5S mini LTE, originally launched in China late last year, offers a 4.7-inch 720p IGZO display, backed by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage with microSD expansion also available.
Running on Android 4.3, it includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with a BSI image sensor, F2.2 aperture, and LED flash, accompanied by a front-facing 5-megapixel version, reports Engadget. While it has a 2,000mAh battery said to provide up to 30 hours of standby time, it also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and DTS sound processing.
The ZTE Nubia 5S mini LTE is available to pre-order as an unlocked device from Amazon for release on August 27th, priced at $280. The company is also said to be offering to repair any damage to the device occurred up to 18 months after purchase for $80.
