Eye Candy 7 update adds new effects, presets


Alien Skin Software has announced the launch of Eye Candy 7, an updated version of its design effects plug-in for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. The software is capable of rendering various realistic effects, such as fire, Chrome, and Lighting, which are difficult to achieve in Photoshop alone. Eye Candy 7 includes features three new effects, Lightning, Electrify, and Clouds, as well as more than 1000 presets for different situations. The software can be purchased online through the company's web store for $200, while owners of pervious versions can upgrade for $100.

Crimson launches new screen protectors for iPhone 5

A new line of screen protectors designed for the iPhone 5 have been released by Crimson USA. Featuring a split-cut design, the protective films can be applied without the need for a liquid adhesive as well as removed and reapplied as many times as needed. Two different models, anti-smudge and anti-glare, are being offered for $12 each through the online Crimson store.
