PowerSkin smartphone cases add color, slim design for 2013

New cases scheduled for release in early 2013
XPAL Power, maker of the PowerSkin line of shock-absorbing, battery-boosting cases for smartphones, has previewed its new lineup for 2013 at the Consumer Electronics Show. The new products showcase a Pro Series of double-injection hard plastic iPhone 5 battery cases in a variety of colors for the first time ever, along with a next-generation slim design for iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S III, as well as a Hybrid Battery Charger, featuring suction cups and tip connectors compatible with Android and Apple iOS devices.
The PowerSkin Battery Case for iPhone 5 features a new ultra-thin angular shape, fitting in the palm of the hand. The iPhone 5 Designer Series PowerSkin battery case extends talk time up to six hours and Wi-Fi usage up to eight hours with its 1500mAh power capacity, featuring an on/off button to activate a charge or to turn the PowerSkin off, and an LED battery level indicator. PowerSkin also offers the Ultra Thin design for the Samsung Galaxy S III case, including two limited-edition colors.
The PowerSkin Pro line of iPhone 5 battery cases will feature a double-injection, TPU bezel with a soft-touch, hard plastic shell available in five bright colors – white, black, titanium, red and pink. The PowerSkin Pro case provides 2000mAh of power and mounts LED indicator lights in front for a visual battery check.
The PowerSkin Hybrid Battery Charger features small, flexible suction cups that adhere externally to mobile devices, connecting by way of a soft flex tip to a micro-USB, Apple 30-pin or Apple Lightning connector, allowing users to recharge their device without having to remove the case. Boasting 2000mAh of power capacity, the PowerSkin Hybrid Battery Chargers will extend power between 50 to 70 percent, depending on the capacity of the device being charged. The charger will be available in black, white, titanium, red or pink.
Both models of case and the battery charger will be available in the beginning of 2013. Pricing is not yet available.
