Wacom has just unveiled the PL-521, a smaller alternative to its artist-oriented Cintiq screens. The 15-inch LCD is large enough for adding writing and sketches to documents and is labeled as a great fit for businesses and schools; to help, the screen's stand can adjust to either 140 degrees horizontal or a more easel-like 130 degrees vertical. A VGA output relays the video signal to an exteral monitor or projector. The tablet display comes bundled with stylus capable of 512 points of pressure and works with both Mac OS X and Windows PCs, including Vista. It ships before the end of the month in the UK for £699 and should be available now in the US as the DTF-521 for $1,624. [via Tech Digest]
