Nokia is poised to launch its N82 media phone as early as next week, according to a new teaser site for the Nseries line and official invitations. The cellphone maker intends to host events both at its headquarters in Espoo, Finland and in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles that should introduce at least one new device expected to be a media-savvy companion to the gaming-focused N81.Details of the N82 remain unchanged so far and suggest a candybar-shaped, chromed version of the N95 with a few enhancements, such as a built-in auto-rotation feature that changes the display to match the viewing angle for the interface or for videos. A 5-megapixel camera, GPS, and Wi-Fi for local networking are assumed, though whether it will include HSPA for North America or only for Europe is uncertain. The launch window is also unclear and may see the phone arrive in earnest by early 2008.
