Modified Android installed on Lenovo A10 changes based on screen position
Lenovo has announced its first notebook running on Android, one that it confirmed rumors about last weekend. The A10, running on a customized version of Android 4.2, can be used as a standard notebook with the user interface geared towards normal desktop-style usage, or with the screen turned enough to make it a standing multi-touch display with touch-optimized apps and interface.
BlackBerry A10 surfaces in Vietnam, touts large 2800mAh battery
The yet to be launched BlackBerry A10 has been given a full video overview by Vietnamese site Tinhte.vn. The video shows that the device adopts some of the design cues from the Z10 including locating a micro USB port and micro HDMI port to the left side of the device. The rear cover replete with AT&T branding gets taken off to reveal a large 2800mAh battery to help give the 5-inch 720p AMOLED display the power it needs to get through a working day.
Verizon-specific model hinted at in specifications list
The BlackBerry A10 will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro running at 1.7GHz with a quad-core GPU, according to an allegedly-leaked BlackBerry internal presentation slide showing specifications of the device. It is said that the upcoming smartphone will have a five-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1280x720 and a pixel density of 295ppi.
