Download arrives after AllShare Cast hub launch
Samsung Galaxy S III owners on T-Mobile will be getting a copy of The Avengers at no charge. The movie is being made available at the same time as a number of features are being added to the handset, including the ability to use AllShare Cast and the AllShare Cast Wireless Hub over the carrier's 4G network.
Samsung readies to ship AllShare Cast Hub
Once again, the FCC has offered a look at an upcoming piece of hardware, this time from Samsung. Called AllShare Cast Hub, it sports an HDMI connection and dual-band Wi-Fi radios, for what we assume is sharing media in a user's home. It may thus be similar to the likes of HTC's Media Link HD, which lets users stream content from smartphones to their TVs.
Samsung vacuum tube, regular Audio Docks hit CES
Samsung preceded CES with a pair of audio docks aimed both at its Galaxy S smartphones and, ironically, iOS devices. The Audio Dock with Vacuum Tube Amplifier, or the DA-E750, mixes both a digital amp and a vacuum tube pre-amp for what it hopes is a mix of accurate sound with warm tones. Samsung is also promising full wireless support for its own Android devices as well as iOS, including Apple's AirPlay, Samsung's AllShare (DLNA), and Bluetooth.
