T-Mobile Galaxy S II update nixes search feature

08/30, 1:07pm

Unified search removed to avoid patent injunction

The T-Mobile model of Samsung's Galaxy S II has received a software update that removes the unified search feature from the device. The update is one in a series of similar updates across multiple carriers as Samsung modifies its phones' features in order to make sure they don't infringe on Apple patents.
