10.1-inch, 9.7-inch tablets to arrive at low pr
Archos has added two more models to its Arnova tablet line with the announcement of the Arnova 9b G3 and 10b G3. The two tablets will join the rest of Archos' low-cost Arnova line at an as yet unannounced date.

Archos ships 9.7-inch budget tablet with Android
Archos just added a fifth model to its Arnova tablet range with the Arnova 9 G2. It sports an iPad-like 9.7-inch, 1024x768-pixel IPS display with a five-point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen layer and runs on Android 2.3. Processing power comes courtesy of a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 single-core processor, and there is 8GB of storage onboard.

PMN and Archos to sell cheap tablets for service
Philadelphia Media Network outlined its previously hinted plans to offer subsdizied tablets. The project will see 5,000 of Archos' Arnova 10 G2 tablets made available with a heavy discount depending on the subscription. The cheap Android slate will cost as little as $99 if bought with a two-year contract subscription to the Daily News and Inquirer costing $10 a month; the price rises to $129 for those who only want to commit for one year but are willing to pay a more standard $13 a month.
