Included display provides usage statistics, remaining allowance
AT&T has added to its range of 4G LTE connectivity devices with a built-in display. The AT&T Beam from Sierra Wireless is a USB modem that connects to the carrier's 4G LTE network, and like the MiFi Liberate, it comes with its own LCD panel to provide important details, such as the strength of the signal and how much data is remaining in the monthly allowance.

AMOLED Beam precedes Samsung's Android model
Samsung on Wednesday morning shipped its second projector phone, the AMOLED Beam. Not to be confused with the Android-based Beam i8520, the phone uses Samsung's own feature phone OS and chiefly upgrades visuals both on and off the phone. Its namesake 3.3-inch, 800x480 display is more color accurate than the old Haptic Beam's LCD, and its pico projector is now about 1.5 times brighter and better suited to real environments.

Mobinnova to bring Beam netbook to AT&T
A recently spotted FCC filing reveals that the netbook formerly known as the élan from Mobinnova will soon be coming to wireless provider AT&T, as evidenced by the BEAMATT product ID. If the specs remain the same as the élan, this means an 8.9-inch screen and processing power from NVIDIA's Tegra processor, which combine to output 720p HD video files and accelerated Flash content.
