NeoGeo X arrives this spring with 20 games
The NeoGeo X portable games console leaked late in January has now been made official. Interested parties can now register for updates, and the handheld will ship during the spring, preloaded with 20 games. As revealed before, the console will have an SD memory card slot and an AVV port.
Samsung Galaxy S Blaze launched ahead of WMC
The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze, first teased in early January has been confirmed by T-Mobile to be landing on the network in ‘late March’ for $150 on a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate is applied. The device is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It supports 42Mbps HSPA+ speeds, which T-Mobile claims is faster than the average home Internet2 broadband connected to a home.
Blaze says Android faster on web than iPhone
(Update: doubts surface) A new study by Blaze has suggested that Android in ideal conditions can easily outperform an iPhone 4 on the web. A Google Nexus S running Android 2.3 is about 52 percent faster on average than an iPhone 4, even with the iOS 4.3 speed boost in effect. In the real world, the Nexus S would outrun the iPhone 4 on Fortune 1000 company websites 84 percent of the time, the Ottawa-based firm said.
