Nokia brings Belle Refresh to its Symbian-powered phones with HTML5 browser, more

Nokia's Belle Refresh update for Symbian-powered phones has just began being sent out, the company revealed on its forum on Monday. The first unlocked handsets to get it will include the Nokia N8, E7, C7, C6-01, X7 and Oro. It will then be sent out to handsets in various countries that are locked to various providers.

Nokia releases Anna update for Symbian devices

Nokia has posted the Symbian Anna OS update for the C6-01, C7, E7 and N8 handsets. The update has been made available in several key European and Asian markets where it is available either over-the-air, or through the software update module of Ovi Suite. The download, which brings a raft of features and enhancements, lobs in at 27MB and typically takes between 15-30 minutes to install depending on the speed of a userís Internet connection.

Nokia coming to T-Mobile on April 6 as Astound

The Nokia C7 rumored for T-Mobile has been unofficially confirmed for the carrier by TMoNews, complete with a price and ship date. The handset will be known as the Astound, however, and ship on April 6 for $80 after rebates. The phone will support 3G networks only.
