SnapX switcher geared for 24", 27" displays
Kanex has introduced its latest accessory for Apple computers, the SnapX two-port switcher for Apple Cinema Displays. The switcher, which is geared for the 24- and 27-inch displays, enables users to quickly transition between two different Macs, such as iMacs, MacBooks or Mac minis.

Internal touchscreen
California developer Troll Touch has announced the availability of its internally integrated touchscreen system for Apple’s recently released 24-inch LED Cinema display. Already available for Apple's 20- and 30-inch Cinema displays, the product joins the company’s lineup of high-resolution, analog resistive touchscreen systems which support user input via fingertip, gloved hand or stylus. Powered via an internal USB connection, Troll Touch says that its custom touchscreen overlay design and innovative component integration technique does not alter the machine’s form factor in any way. To the casual observer, the system does not appear to have been modified.

New Apple Cinema Displays?
Apple may be on the verge of updating its Cinema Displays, speculation suggests. The company pulled the stand-alone LCD monitors from prominent mention on its online store Wednesday night, relegating them to the Displays section under Mac Accessories. While Apple may be putting the monitors aside simply to market bigger products during the holidays, the company has also traditionally taken such steps before the release of a product update.
