M2 Bluetooth-enabled 2.1 speaker system offers room-filling sound, wirelessly

Kinivo has announced the availability of its M2 wireless speaker system, available for purchase online. The Bluetooth-enabled 2.1 speaker system is intended for home or office use, and includes two compact speakers with an active subwoofer. Its design features a black finish with copper accents on its volume controls. Able to connect to one's home entertainment system or workspace equipment, the speaker system can stream audio from any Bluetooth-enabled device, as well as any device that can connected through its auxiliary input. The M2 2.1 speaker system is priced at $70.

Samsung launches NFC-enabled printer range within small and mid-sized market

Samsung has announced the launch of NFC-enabled printers this week at the Samsung European Forum, including the monochrome laser Xpress M2880 Series and color laser Xpress C1860 Series. Both printers offer fast printing, at 28 pages and 18 pages per minute respectively. Featuring NFC and Wi-Fi Direct, users can print wirelessly by way of tapping their smartphone on the printer for sending files to be printed, or execute printing from a Samsung Galaxy device with its default print button, via a Wi-Fi connection.

Google Cloud Print can now print to offices

Google has expanded Cloud Print both for device support and, in a rare step, commercial printing. Those using a mobile app or Chrome can now push a print project to a FedEx office in the US with Print & Go self-service as an option. The gesture helps reduce the need for a home or work printer, particularly for phone or tablet owners who might be traveling and need to print a hard copy.

Google Cloud Print hits Android and iPhone

Google on Monday brought its Cloud Print plans to a wider audience today with its first mobile option. Android, iOS and other HTML5-capable phone platforms can now print common documents from Gmail or Google Docs to any printer associated with a Google account, whether or not it's on the local network. The option appears both in the usual drop-down menu but also direct links in e-mail.
