Cybershot RX10 uses same image processor as A7, A7R
Sony has added another bridge-style camera to its RX range, one which uses the same 1-inch 20.2-megapixel BSI Exmor R CMOS sensor as the RX100 II. The Cybershot RX10, launched at the same time as the A7 and A7R, uses a 24-200mm Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* zoom lens with an aperture of F2.8 at all focal lengths.

The sequel to Sony’s highly-regarded Cybershot RX100, the RX100 II, is now official, following a few leaks ahead of its launch. The latest version of the point-and-shoot segment leading device has added several key feature enhancements, adding to its appeal. In addition to Wi-Fi, NFC, a Multi Interface Shoe, Multi Terminal and a new tilting 3.0-inch LCD panel, the new camera also incorporates a new 20.2-megapixel BSI Exmor R 1.0-type CMOS sensor for better low-light images.
