Echo Nest, Spotify bring API integration to developers

Move will help devs add song information, more

Echo Nest, the self-proclaimed music intelligence platform that supplies music data, has now partnered with streaming music service Spotify to allow developers integrate data into their apps. Developers will now just need to use a Spotify song's ID to pair it with Echo Nest's Rosetta Stone database, which includes song and artist identifiers. They can then integrate this data easily with sites such as Facebook, Twitter, 7Digital, EMI, Free Music Archive, and Rdio, among others.
