ASUS EeePC netbooks due in Germany via Amazon
A leaked Amazon inventory screen reveals there are new ASUS netbooks coming, with the 10.1-inch R101 and R101PX now available for pre-order. The former has a 160GB hard drive preloaded with Windows XP and is said to cost the equivalent of $335. The latter carries a larger 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter Edition, all for about $403. They also share a 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU and 1GB of RAM.

Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta 3 now available to test
Adobe has released a Beta 3 version of Flash Player 10.1 for Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms. Meant for developers to test new hardware, the build reportedly has support for Intel's GMA 500 integrated graphics processors. The update will allow for Flash-based HD video playback on many previously incapable netbooks, including very small models like the Sony VAIO P.

ASUS outs specs for T101MT EeePC netbook
The ASUS T101MT convertible netbook that was spotted at the FCC on Christmas Eve is now official, with full specs available on the company's website. As revealed back in December, the PC sports a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit multi-input touchscreen with 1024x600 resolution. Windows 7 is the default operating system, and can be had in Starter, Home Basic and Home Premium flavors. The base system has 1GB of RAM, while those who opt for Windows 7 Premium also get 2GB of RAM.

ASUS Eee PC 1001P coming January 6th in Germany
The second EeePC from ASUS after the 1005p to use Intel's new-generation Pine Trail platform will soon be available, as indicated by a German Amazon listing. The 10.1-inch netbook uses the 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor, but other specs are similar to earlier Eee PCs. This means a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP in a package that weighs 2.4lbs. In contrast, the Eee PC 1005P ships with Windows 7 Starter Edition.

EeePC 904HA unveiled
ASUS on Friday has added yet another portable notebook model to its EeePC line-up of netbooks with the 904HA. The newest notebook packs a 1.6GHz Atom CPU along with 1GB of RAM for processing power, and includes a 160GB hard drive for storage. It includes a 6-cell battery and, as the photos reveal, will be available in red and green in addition to the already offered black version. It includes the same 8.9-inch display as the smaller EeePC offerings, with a 1024x600 resolution.

LG intros 3G X110 netbook
LG made everyone wait until Thursday to release its rumored X110 10-inch notebook that would compete with the likes of the ASUS EeePC and the MSI Wind at the IFA 2008 consumer electronics expo. The portable computer uses HSPA 3G for mobile access to data, in addition to a 802.11b/g wireless LAN connection and dedicated Ethernet port. The processor will be an unspecified one from Intel’s Atom line-up, working with 1GB of RAM.

ASUS EeePC accessories
ASUS may soon officially release accessories for its Eee PC range of UMPCs, as images of three new accessories have been leaked on the Internet. The images originate from a German Eee PC enthusiast site, and show an external hard drive, an external optical drive and a 3G wireless data network connection card. All seem to connect to the Eee PC via an integrated USB port.
