LG-produced Ultra HD touchscreens used by Fuhu for gaming, apps
Fuhu is preparing to sell larger tablets in its kid-friendly range, with television-sized touch-enabled devices. Kid-friendly tablet offers art lessons, custom animations, stylus
Film production company DreamWorks is working with Fuhu, creators of the Nabi tablet line, to produce a new tablet range for children. The DreamTab will be an 8-inch Android-based tablet that will feature regular and automatic content updates from DreamWorks itself, including educational apps animations of DreamWorks characters teaching the viewer about the tablet.
Tablet features kid-friendly interface, content
Chinese/American Web 2.0 properties and app developer FUHU has teamed up with Toys R Us to offer a tablet designed specifically with young children in mind. The seven-inch Nabi offers a "kiddified" user interface for web browsing, watching movies and TV shows, reading books, learning, and game playing. Mothers can key in a password and use the device as a fully functional Android tablet.
