Google Wave finally gets shutdown after weak adoption
As promised, Google has pulled the plug on its Google Wave online communications service. It launched in 2009 but never got off the ground, and development on the project stopped back in mid-2010. Support continued, however, due to the open-source nature of the undertaking.

EA Mobile promotes iPhone titles
A new gadget for Google Wave has been released by CS Odessa. ConceptDraw MindWave is a free tool that can be used to map out strategies or brainstorm ideas on various topics. Through Google Wave teams can come together and collaborate on projects, adding input and suggestions. MindWave includes support for the Google Wave playback feature, meaning that users can step backwards through a map to see how it has changed over time. Users also have to option to download the map and import it into either ConceptDraw Office or ConceptDraw MindMap.

iPhone OS feature creates full-screen web apps
Hidden iPhone compatibility features have been found in Google Wave, reports say. Wave is used to merge e-mail, wikis, instant messaging and social networking, and is currently in its beta stages. The web app is supported in two ways on an iPhone, the first being visiting its website through Safari. People are warned that their browser is not supported during the preview period, but after proceeding, problems should be minimal.
