IDG finds iPad replacing PCs at work
Nearly every business pro with an iPad is using it primarily to get work done, IDG determined in a study on Monday. About 91 percent worldwide who have iPads use it for work first, leaving just the small remainder to personal-first use. About a quarter of those tablets had been supplied by work, showing that companies were increasingly handing out Apple's tablet as a corporate tool.

Conference focuses on enterprise, admin topics
MacWorld conference organizers IDG have posted a schedule of technical sessions for the MacIT conference of MacWorld 2011, taking place January 27-29, 2011 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The conference is aimed at Mac-using IT professionals, network engineers and enterprise staff with a focus on security, OS X deployment, network and storage management, IT fundamentals for those new to the field and iOS integration.

Macworld interview part 1
Those going to the upcoming Macworld Expo in San Francisco can expect a much larger show this year, with nearly 50,000 registered attendees, and over 450 vendors are making a presence at the show. Paul Kent, Vice President of the Macworld Expo, told MacNN today that the 2008 event will dwarf previous years, with an estimated 25-percent increase in floor traffic, and an18-percent increase in vendor attendance. As of today, MacWorld Expo will feature 453 vendors, 48 of which are new and taking up residence in the year-old Developer's Pavilion.
