Inspiron 910 shipping soon
Dell on Tuesday confirmed it would ship the Inspiron 910 in the next few days, bringing to a head rumors of the ultraportable that has been under vast speculation for some time. While Dell was forthcoming with the release itself, a Dell spokesperson was unable to provide any technical specifications. The spokesperson also panned specifications that were surfacing on technology news sites, saying the information contained was merely "rumors and speculation."

Del names Inspiron 910
Dell has released official specs for the Dell E – now officially called the Inspiron 910 – and citing that the laptop will indeed come with an option for 3G wireless capabilities, as seen on Brazilian tech news blog Garota Sem Fio. The Inspiron 910 will offer users a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, and either 512MB or 1GB of RAM. Dell elected for a flash-based SSD drive, offered in 4GB, 8GB, and 12GB sizes. Crowning the 910 is an 8.9 inch TrueLife LCD, running at a native resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, while graphics are driven by an Intel 945GSE chipset.
